FOR A HANDS-ON COMBINE INTERIOR SYSTEMS hiring EVENT
This event begins at 7:30 am, runs until about 3 pm and is for those looking to start a career in the construction industry or who want to showcase their
experience in interior systems. Each session runs about an hour. Register today to confirm your preferred time slot and check out the video below to see our last event.
- What is a Combine? Combines are one-day skills showcase and recruitment events, with on site interviews
- What is Interior Systems? Framing and Drywall Installation
- What if I don’t have experience? No experience required, we will have instructors on site for guidance, and demonstration of hands-on activities
- What if I have experience? If you have two or more years experience you may complete an evaluation
- What is the pay? Starting at $21/hour up to $30/hour with experience
- Are there any benefits? Yes, our employer partners all offer a benefit package that includes Health and Welfare, and a Pension in addition to your wages
- How long will I need to be there? Each session is about one hour, not including check in time and possible interviews
- Do I need to bring anything? Yes, you should wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and work boots
- Are there any other requirements? You must be at least 18 years old and complete signing of a waiver
- If no experience is required will there be training? Yes, anyone hired will be enrolled in our apprenticeship, with class and on the job training
- Does this training cost anything? No, the cost of training is covered by the employers

We regularly have pre-apprenticeship training programs in various locations to jump start opportunities in the field. Combines are one-day skills showcase and recruitment events. Bootcamps are short term (8-10 day) intense training programs that get select new apprentices ready for the workplace with the basic skills needed to be successful.
